MADI Ahmed - Defender of coral reefs

MADI Ahmed is an expert in marine and coastal ecology, holding a Master 2 in Economic and Human Geography from the University of Toliara Manindaya, as well as a Master 1 in Ecology from the University of IH.SM Toliara. Since 2022, he has held the position of Ecological Monitoring Manager of Marine and Coastal Habitats at INRAPE/DGRH.
Passionate about coral reef conservation, MADI Ahmed is committed to protecting these vital ecosystems, threatened by the effects of climate change and anthropogenic pressures. He has initiated innovative fish farming projects in the Comoros and actively participates in experience exchanges and island conferences to strengthen conservation efforts.
His work focuses on monitoring and preserving marine and coastal habitats, contributing to the resilience of ecosystems and the well-being of coastal communities.
