Rindranantenaina Miharivelo Princy - Defender of Lemurs
Veterinary Medicine Student
Currently a final-year veterinary medicine student, Rindranantenaina Miharivelo Princy is passionate about Madagascar’s endemic animals. The decline in lemur numbers over time deeply affects her. She wants to actively contribute to their preservation and ensure a prosperous future for them. Convinced that lemurs are invaluable treasures, Princy believes they need support and assistance from scientists in various fields, such as environmental science and animal health. Engaged since middle school, she was a member of the Vintsy club, where she participated in various awareness campaigns on biodiversity protection, particularly for lemurs. Princy was also a member of the Malagasy Youth Biodiversity Network and conducted an awareness campaign at the Analamahitsy Primary School on lemur conservation.
