Ocean Defenders Madagascar is an ambitious initiative dedicated to preserving the island’s marine ecosystems. This project began with the rigorous selection of passionate defenders from all corners of Madagascar, united by a common goal: to protect our oceans and their fragile treasures.

By creating a robust framework to support them in their mission, we provide them with essential training and recognition. Each stage of the project aims to strengthen their impact on marine conservation and inspire a new generation of ocean protectors.
Strengthening the skills of Ocean Defenders is crucial to their role in preserving marine and coastal ecosystems. The training they receive covers several essential aspects of their mission. It includes learning advocacy techniques, enabling defenders to structure advocacy committees, define SMART objectives, and develop detailed action plans.
